駱駝跳舞 / Reste soi-même
在圖書館借來一本自己也覺得很好看的兒童圖書《Souris et Singeries》，插圖為 Christopher Wormell 的浮雕版印刷，出版社 Circonflexe，收集了廿多個啟智的寓言故事，有耳熟能詳的「螞蟻與草蜢」和「狐狸與葡萄」等等等等。 其中有一個伊索 (Aesop) 的「猴子與駱駝」是我第一次看的，大意講罛動物舉行舞會，駱駝見猴子舞藝好而贏得全場歡呼聲，嫉妒起來，想東施效顰，怎知自己苯重的舞步怪模怪樣，反而令罛動物反感，被驅出場。 故事說出盲目模仿他人的荒唐，書中寫寓意 'Reste toi-même' ，廣東話 :'做返'你自己 (暫時想不到另一個翻譯)。
天生我才，每個人都有自己的個性，沒有必要像羊群般跟著別人咩咩叫。 別人跳舞出色，自己不一定會跳 ; 別人穿底腰褲，自己不一定穿得好看 ; 流行什麼什麼牌子的貨品，自己不一定要跟風; 潮流興什麼玩意，不一定也要買 ; 別人說的話，先經過自己的腦袋來想想 ; 更大的理論，也有不合自己的地方 ．．．雖然我知道我明白，在群體的社會，要'做返'你自己談何容易。
On a emprunté un joli livre《Souris et Singeries》 illustré par des linogravures magnifiques de Christopher Wormell. Une vingtaine de leçons de vie sont tirées des fables connues, dans lesquels j'ai découvert "Le singe et le chameau" d'Aesop. 'Reste toi-même', cité. Intéressant. Ah, les fables ne se vieillissent pas.

謝謝推介, 有時候我也會很迷失, 待靖愷大點也要說這個故事給他聽, 保持自己的個性真的很重要。
Independent thinking, that's what kids are encouraged to do in western societies that allow oppositions (except statements outside of the legal limits such as promotion of hatred).
You are right, free speech is an issue in many other countries and people living there must weigh the cost and consequences vs the benefits and effectiveness of such an approach.
