My thought on a film that I've seen :
Peau d'âne (Donkey Skin/ 1970) by Jacques Demy
Excellent French musical film in the seventieth! Incredibly marvelous customs, good photograph, sceneries, directing, performance of actors and actresses... make this film a fairy tale itself. Kitsch but creative, an example of french films in its brilliant period.

Yes actually it is on a quite famous bridge of the region, and indeed you have to consult the tide table before crossing it... but people like to cross it anyway, kind of exciting... :) here's a site about it: http://www.passagedugois.com/
