湯圓.冰條.團年飯

今天又在公司泡'即食麵'作午餐,微波爐一開,熟識的麵香迎臉撲來,突然一陣小學生時代的回憶都隨著飄回來,二樓小店、長板凳、餐旦麵、碎牛肉麵... 曾在嗅味一篇寫過了地方氣味的影響,實在回憶也被嗅味挑着來作怪。

自小已聞說即食麵對身體無益,今天看 wikipedia 寫,原來即食麵也含'反式脂肪'啊,多食無益了。 話照說,即食麵却仍有買,兒時回憶另議。

下午把年夜飯用來包糖心湯圓餘下的一小團糯米又搓了幾粒,我一邊包一邊又想起母親以往常跟我說,「你要食湯圓好容易,屋企有糯米粉,幾分鐘搞掂...」

糯米粉好白,白得像雲、像夢、像煙。

感冒,特別口渴,身體貼著暖爐來吃冰條,想起紅豆冰。小時候自製紅豆冰條,把盛涼了的紅豆沙倒進八個四方格的冰架,再在方格內分別放一兩支牙籤,放進冰格一夜便成紅豆冰了。可是紅豆沙,要自己也來弄一盤。

週末邀請了幾個朋友來吃團年飯,加了一把勁造了幾個菜,沒有拍照,隨便寫下有 : 髮菜鮑螺煲雞湯、燒豬肉大义燒、上海白菜草菇伴煎豆腐、薑絲蒸雞、糖心湯圓。 還有什麼? 久別了的中菜氣氛。

唔知點解冬天有一點食冰條的衝動,
明明凍到流鼻水,
但係都想食,
人就是這樣奇怪的動物了! =p

新鮮人: 謝謝你! 其實本來打算煲發菜瘦肉湯 清清地,不過晚了外出買菜,物都冇得賣 !! 好彩在唐人街有雞架賣,還是怕不夠味,所以加了一罐鮑螺頭湯囉,罐頭來吧了 :P

其實髮菜是回港時母親'迫'我帶走的 :P 回來後把它放了在一邊 差點忘記了。

hmm....I haven't made Chinese soup for a long long time. Years ago, I brought back some "cantonese soup packets" from Hong Kong. They were surprisingly good, either with chicken or pork bone.

Michelle, I haven't had a bad meal in Paris. You guys really know what good food is. Even a 10 Euro chicken from the store tastes 100 times better than the chickens here in the U.S. I am drooling with envy.

The last time I cooked up a storm was before xmas when I was making a Moroccan meal. I haven't used special Chinese ingredients for quite a while.

Just like you, I make my own sweet red-bean popsicles which are not commercially available in this city!! The closest I can get from Chinatown is red-bean ice-cream.

Haricot: Moroccan meal !! i haven't try to make it yet... Have to do it one day (i was given some moroccan spices some time ago and still not using it...)

moroccan cuisine? wow cous cous. i remember that last year there was a french movie about a restaurant which serves cous cous.

The Man: are you talking about "La graine et le mulet" that i've just seen (see i've listed them in the column on the right) ? Did you see it too ? i quite like it!
